What is raw and organic honey?

Honey is Raw when it is not processed or heated and is col extracted from the hive. Organically produced honey is free from all antibiotics and has not been infused with any additional flavorings or sweeteners. It is kept in an environment with only wild flowers which has not been given any fertilizers or spray.

Commercially available honey is usually heavily processed, pasteurized and heated to make it more appealing for the customer. Commercially bought honey may also be blended with other low quality honey or mixed with refine sugars. These processes destroy all the vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes that the honey contains. Pasteurization also reduces honey’s nutritional value, benefits and quality.

Why Honey crystallizes

Most people think that the honey is gone bad when it turns into solid crystals, some think it has a lot of table sugar. All of this I not true. Crystallization of honey is natural process and Honey is considered Raw if it crystallized after some time. That is why commercial companies’ process and heat honey so that it does not crystallize and mislead people who do not know about honey structure.

At Beewild we never heat or process honey to maintain its natural efficacy, minerals, amino acids and enzymes.

Is your honey free from Antibiotics and Pesticides?

Yes, our bees collect nectar from untouched, natural meadows and wild forests. The bees live in the area which is not being treated with pesticides, therefore ensuring that the our raw honey is clean from any pesticides.

Additionally, we deeply care for our bees and we make sure that they are treated only with natural, ecological and organic remedies. Ensuring that there are no antibiotics used for healing bees.
